WELCOME TO THE LIBRARY!
This year is going to be a bit different.
So, let me give you some of the tentative guidelines for library check-out at Rock Springs Elementary.
This year we will be checking out books when students come to the library for related arts.
For those of you that will be distance-learners or if Rock Springs becomes a distance learning school for a period of time, we will continue to checkout books.

I am Mrs. Higgins! This is my first year as the librarian at Rock Springs Elementary, but I have a great deal of teaching experience. I have been teaching for 25 years. I began teaching in Grundy County where I taught kindergarten and fifth grade. After teaching seventh grade for eight years at Central Middle School in Murfreesboro, I came to Rock Springs Elementary. Kindergarten was my passion, and I taught the little ones for sixteen years.
I have been married for 26 years to Sean Higgins. We have three children. Morgan is 25, and she is beginning a new career this year as well. She will be teaching 6th grade Language Arts at Siegel Middle School. She is married, and her husband's name is Taylor. They have two babies - kittens, Mike and TInk. Blake is 22 and a senior at MTSU. She is majoring in speech and language pathology. Blake enjoys working and teaching children. Chase is 11, and he, too, is beginning a new school career. He will be attending Eagleville School. Chase enjoys playing soccer and video games.
While this is a career change, I will still be able to work with students which has been my life-long passion. I look forward to meeting all the kids, in person or virtually. I hope you enjoy the Rock Springs Library.
