Teaching is my passion. I have the greatest job in the world!

• I started my career in Human Resources prior to teaching. 

• For 2 years I was an EA in a special education classroom and then the last10 years as a Special Education Teacher.

I just moved from Central Illinois to Middle Tennessee in July 2024

Family: Married with 4 children, two boys and two girls, expecting our first grandson in October 2024

• Born & raised in Des Moines, Iowa. ​
• Attended SouthEast Polk High School in Runnells, Iowa​
• Completed my Associate's degree at Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri​
• Completed my undergraduate degree in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix​
• Masters in Elementary Education from Concordia University​
• 2nd Master's in Special Education with LBS1 from Dominican University

Favorite Color: Purple

Favorite Candy: Chocolate, Skittles, Starburst, (no peanut butter)

Favorite Treats: Cookies, cakes, rice crispy treats, etc

Favorite Restaurants: Chicken Salad Chick, Starbucks, Dunkin, Dutch Bros, 

 Hobbies:

• Love spending time with family/friends
• Creating things on my Cricut for my class.
• Anything Disney or Pixar!
• Playing with my Great Dane - Skye!
