All Rutherford County schools are set to reopen Monday, Feb. 2, and will operate on a normal schedule. Buses will also run, as normal.

Please consider donating to our toy drive, as we are collecting toys to help brighten the season for families in need. Send unwrapped toys/gifts to RSE from December 1-5, 2025. All toys will be donated to the Snyder Foundation in Smyrna. These toys will be given back to kids in our community. The Snyder Foundation helps over 250 families each year. Areas of most need are toys for kids under the age of 3 and gifts for teenagers. Thank you in advance for giving!

We invite you to shop at our Online Book Fair from 9/2-9/15! This book fair is strictly online; there will not be an on-site (in person) book fair. All Rutherford County schools will remain closed through Friday, Jan. 30, to allow time for the remaining roadways to be cleared, for power to be restored to as many residents as possible, and for us to ensure our school sidewalks and parking lots are prepared for students and employees to return. The RCS Central Office will reopen on Thursday.

The following programs are after school programs that serve the RSE community. These programs do provide after school care and transportation from the school to their facility (YMCA stays onsite at RSE). For enrollment or questions about their programs, please contact them directly.

Dear Families,

Please note that the school office will be open starting Monday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. However, due to a scheduled training for our administrative and attendance staff, we will not be able to assist with enrollment on that day.

If you have questions or need support with enrollment, we kindly ask that you call or visit the office during summer office hours starting Tuesday, July 22.

Summer Office Hours:
July 21-31 (Monday-Thursday) 8:00 AM-11:00 AM
August 1 8:00 AM-11:00 AM
